 Contemporary | Tuesday, October 27 Originally from Detroit, Jordan is thrilled to be back teaching in her home state! Jordan grew up training in all styles of dance and traveling around the country training with world-renowned teachers and choreographers, as well as at her hometown studio, Dance Dynamics Performing Arts Center. Training heavily in ballet, Jordan was able to perform some of her most favorite roles including, Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen (The Nutcracker) and Cinderella (Cinderella). Training credits include: Complexions Contemporary Ballet, American Ballet Theater and Joffrey Ballet School. Jordan has been a dancer in film, stage and music videos, including Who Owns My Heart by Miley Cyrus, the indie film 24 and The Miss America Show. Immediately following high school, Jordan toured as a dance assistant with West Coast Dance Explosion under the direction of John Crutchman and Alan Sherfield. Jordan was also a member of Willow Oak Contemporary Ballet under the direction of Tamu Ortenzio in Baton Rouge, LA. Currently, Jordan is on faculty with Elite Ballet Summer Intensive in Las Vegas, Nevada under the direction of Ballet Master, Tara Foy. She also is the Senior Director of the ballet department at Dancin' In The Spotlight in New Jersey. Jordan is also an assistant and faculty member with world-renowned New York City Dance Alliance, under the direction of Joe Lanteri. |
