In addition to spring recital, APA has performance groups for special concerts and programs.

requirements

• Company I - Level V-VI advanced technique ability
• Company II - Level IV-V intermediate technique ability
• Company III - Level III intermediate technique ability.
• Participation to be approved by Director.
• Take ballet, jazz  and  a 3rd technique class    (tap, pointe, boys) at Academy of Performing Arts.
• Attend dance camp at APA this summer or other camp, approved by APA.
  (Company I dance trip to Chicago/New York)
• Attend mandatory Parent & Student Informational Meeting in  September
  - date to be announced.
• Attend mandatory Parent & Student Commitment Meeting in September
  - date to be announced.
• Attend weekly rehearsal period with no more than 3 absences per year, plus any agreed upon extra rehearsal periods scheduled for special events. Keep same excellent attendance in technique classes.
• Participate in area school presentations.
• Work with the team as cooperative member at all times!

Attendance of the required camp is mandatory if membership is considered, but students make final commitment at the meeting in September, after Company level is determined.
